HR sheets or hot rolled sheets are steel sheets that are soft enough to bend flat on itself in any direction, without cracking. They are ductile enough for shallow drawing used in variety of industries in the domestic market.

The metal slabs (Aluminum or Alloy) are heated in a natural gas fired furnace before processing it through a hot rolling mill. This process reduces the thickness. Once it is cooled, the plate is cut into desired length and the coil is further processed through the cold rolling mills.

 cold rolled sheets are hot rolled malleable metals which provides a superior surface finish, with improved physical properties of the steel, such as high formability, and endurance, excellent dent resistance, good magnetic properties, tensile strength, and precise welding properties. With Cold Rolling its thickness is reduced to precise gauges. CR Sheets are available in sheets and coils.
